Warning-128 We need more information

You can help Gas Mask and Respirator Wiki by expanding it and adding more information to it.

The Invalid Respirator is one of the more unusual devices that became available to the British public during WWII.

These were issued to people who had respiratory difficulties that limited them from wearing the standard civilian respirator. The pump made it easier for filtered air to get through to the wearer. The respirator was made by L & BR CO. As well as Avon. The mask, like all other WWII British Masks, most likely has Blue Asbestos in the mask. (Blue Asbestos is roughly 100 times more dangerous than the regular White Asbestos) Thus it's not reccomended to wear the mask as said in the warning above

The Invalid Respirator is quite scarce to find today, but one can turn up once in a while from UK military and auction sites.
