The C3 comes in 3 variants, the C3-1, C3-2 and C3-3. The C3-1 and 2 seem virtually the same though the filter used in each kit is different. The most common C3 seen on the surplus market is the 1970s C3-2 with the M69 filter.

The C3 comes in 3 variants, the C3-1, C3-2 and C3-3. The C3-1 and 2 seem virtually the same though the lenses are slightly different. The C3-1 uses traditional LAG style removable lenses whilst the C3-2 uses the style of the 1957 onwards LAG MKIIIs which seemed to use similar lens holders to the British MKIII GSR (non removable and without the 4 tabs on the metal). The C3-1 also seemed to have two types of filter. The most common C3 seen on the surplus market is the 1970s C3-2 with the M69 filter.

The C3-3 may be little more than a prototype. This mask used a British faceblank.
