Polish gas masks[]
The development of Polish construction was influenced by French and Soviet constructions (after 1945). Despite numerous influences of foreign designs, there are also typical Polish designs (such as the wz. 32 gas mask). Gas masks in Poland have been produced since 1925. Nowadays, there are two companies producing gas masks: Maskpol S.A. and Faser S.A.
Polish gas masks were exported abroad to, inter alia, Romania, Egypt, Lebanon and Ukraine.
