The D-6 gas mask (Russian: Детский Противогаз - "Children's Gas mask") was the children variant of the GP-2.

The filter itself is the D-6 which is the shortened version of the GP-2. It is a cylindrical metal filter containing the various blocking substances. It was fixed to the face piece at the chin.
Facepieces[]
Sh-2 (Ш-2) styled[]
It was made of rubberized cloth and had the exhale valve at the side. The eye pieces could be the one of the Sh-1 face piece or just glued ones. It has a 6 pointed harness system.
ShM-1d (ШМ-1д)[]
The facepiece is helmet styled rubber mask. It has two crimped on circular eyepieces in metal assemblies. It has a nape strap like the later PMG, only the size 4 and 5 lacks of it. The mask was made in 5 sizes. The exhale valve is on the front.
