The Dräger X-plore 3300/3500 are a Twin-filter half masks and are part of the X-plore 3000 series.

Overview[]

The X-plore 3300 features a singular strap criss-cross pattern into the mask, to a plastic head-harness. The cascade-shaped nose bridge offers optimal distrubtion of pressure and a large opening on the exhalve valve keeps the air resistance low during exhalation. The half-mask is made with few parts as possible so that no special training is required for easier handling. It's simplistic design gives the advantage of easy and quick cleaning, (dis)assembly and donning.

The material used to construct the mask is made out of EPDM: Ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber and TPE: Thermoplastic elastomer.

It's primary use is for working with chemicals, vapours and various particles that are mixed, like substances or cleaning agents.

X-plore 3500[]

The X-plore 3500 is an ubgraded version in black for tougher conditions and features a drop-down harness system, allowing to be simply removed by releasing the fastener at the neck without havin to remove the head-harness first.

Filters[]

The X-plore 3300 uses a Twin Bayonet filter specifically made for the X-plore 3000 series. They can also be used for the Dräger X-plore 5500. The filters use a bayonet fastener which guides the filter into the correct position until the contact point can be felt.
