The masks general description[edit | edit source]

The F-62Sh (Ф-62Ш) was a simple, industrial and civilian issue mask, used in the 70s, along with the RU60m, that might have seen civil defense use. Today, its manufactured by Breeze Kama, under the name, Breeze 1201. The mask was a simple half mask, using the RP-7 half mask base. The same base was used with the RU60m half face mask. It has a very similar material to the gp4, and features a simple, head basket based head strap. It uses 1, PMG style outlet valve. The mask features 3 hooks, that are used to hook a sweat cloth, that will make wearing more comfortable, but somewhat damaging the seal.

The filter[edit | edit source]

It uses a single, big particle filter. The filter is usually P2 (R95) rated. It hasn't been tested for asbestos, but there are modern alternatives. At some websites, the filter is referred as "Breeze 1001".
