The Hungarian Gázseb-csomag (gas wound kit) was issued to the Magyar Királyi Honvédség (Hungarian royal army) and its civilian variant was available for the public to purchase in the Second World War. It was the predecessor of the Gázsebcsomag (gas wound kit). Légoltalmi liga (pre-Civil Defence) used a mix of the military and civilian kit alongside with the Légoltalmi gázsebcsomag (air raid gas wound kit).
Military variant (Gázseb-csomag)[]
This was the first personal decontamintaion kit in Hungary, issued in 1934. It is a 10 x 7 x 2 cm brown cradboard box reinforced with metal clips and protected by celophane from humidity and water. In the double cardboard box 10 sheets of blotting paper and 6 olied paper capsules of anti-gas powder (chloramine B) can be found. The markings and the manual is on the side of the box. It was manufactured by Dr. Bayer és Társa. After the war it had an expanded and modernised Czechoslovak copy called OZBP.

USERS MANUAL: If liquid agent gets on your skin immediately soak it up with the blotting paper. Then wet the skin. Strew the powder from the powder capsule and then make a mash using a wooden stick or your hand. The mash sould stay on the skin for 2-3 minutes. Bury or burn the used blotting paper.
Civlian, Dr.Bayer és Társa variant (Elsősegély gáz-sebcsomag)[]
It is a two pieced dark brown oval cardboard box containing one black plastic ampoule for the skin decontamination powder (chloramine B) while the smaller glass one contains eye decontamination tablets (sodium bicarbonate) it comes with 12 sheets (5x7cm) of blotting paper, later kits also contain Baldrian-vials (sedative drug). It was manufactured by Dr. Bayer és Társa.

Civli, TURUL variant[]
This type was usually the part of first aid chests and boxes, contains the same things as the Dr. Bayer és Társa variant. It was Manufactured by TURUL kötszergyár.
Civil, MONE variant[]
This type was usually the part of first aid chests and boxes, contains the same things as the Dr. Bayer és Társa variant. It was Manufactured by MONE Orvosi Műszerüzem és Kórházberendező Rt.
Civil, Mayer és Seitz variant[]
This type was usually the part of first aid chests and boxes, contains the same things as the Dr. Bayer és Társa variant. It was Manufactured by Mayer és Seitz Rt..
Red Cross variant[]
Similar to the civilian variant but the box is smaller and cylindrical and doesn't contain sodium bicarbonate tablets.
Civil Defence variant (Légoltalmi gázsebcsomag)[]
However the Civil Defence workers could use any of the previous ones, what they usually used. There was a special variant for the Civil Defence. It is a grey painted angular cardboar box, bigger than the previous ones. It contained more things that the previous ones from different manufacturers, it was compiled by MONE Orvosi Műszerüzem és Kórházberendező Rt.
It contains:
- 1 vial iodine
- 1 vial Wetol (wound oil)
- 1 vial szagoltató ("smeller" - simillar thing can be found in the later SzVCs to reduce pain, it contains alcohol, chloroform and ether)
- 1 sheet of Hansaplast band-aid
- 1 sheet of blotting paper
- envelope of sodium bicarbonate
- 1 gauze roll
- 1 nasal dressing
- 1 vial calcium hypochlorite
