The R.M.2 and R.M.3 were Italian navy-issued gas mask. The industrial variant is the Pirelli 531.

Mask overview[]

The rm2 and rm3 were royal navy gas masks issued to italian sailors. The mask were produced around the mid 30's by Pirelli and I.A.C. They featured two exhale valves and a tissot system located inside the facepiece that helped to prevent fogging by taking fresh air on the lenses. The mask were used with a corrugated hose that allowed the user to utilise the mask with the filter inside

The filter issued with the rm2 and rm3 was the pirelli or I.A.C M31-M33 R.M. type

Kit[]

The kit was composed by the facepiece, the corrugated hose, the filter, the bag, anti fogging soap and a spare exhale valve.
