The Model G was the standard gas mask of the Dutch army from 1937 to 1940. The mask used in the army was called the Model G, and was made by Vredestein. The mask was also made by Hevea in very small numbers named Model 126. This mask was not used by the military, only by firefighters and in the industry.

The Model G was introduced in 1937 to the Dutch Armed Forces and remained in use until the Second World War. It was an improved version of the Model F. Among the eyeglasses it had a rubber partition to prevent mirroring. The hose consisted of one piece and the outlet valve was mounted in the nozzle
Kit[]
The Model G was stored in the same type of carrier as the Model F. There were 3 variants of the gas mask carrier, for non-riders, drivers and cyclists. The carrier bags were marked on the inside of the closing flap with a white "O" for riders, a white "B" for drivers and a white "W" for cyclists.
