The Z 56 was a German civilian gas mask made entirely of white rubber. The mask was issued to the civil defence.
Mask overview[]
The Z56 is essentially a cheaper GM-38 with a simplified intake-outtake piece made of plastic.
Kit[]
The mask came in a box with its brand filter and sometimes a satchel. It uses a canvas bag with one button.
