The SM64 Bergungsmaske was a Swiss civilian mask. It was a hood mask that came in five sizes. It had a 40mm intake on the chin and an exhale valve on the side. It came in a kit with a brown fabric bag with a L58 filter.
PA-2000[]
The mask was also used by rescue crews that used it to save a trapped person, for example from mines or tunnels, where oxygen could get dangerously low. If it was used in that way the rescuer would put a mask on his own head and a mask on the head of the rescued person. The masks would be connected to the PA-2000 SCBA.
