The Titán 165 was a fullface mask designed in 1937.

General overview[]

The mask was made out of two-layered canvas. The inner layer was boiled in linseed, whilst the outer layer was rubberized. The mask was much improved from previous models, as it featured an oral nasal cup of sorts. In the company's words - "a special breathing apparatus made from rubberized fabric, which leans closely towards your face around your nose, along your cheeks, and under your chin, guaranteeing safety even in case of the main facepiece being torn, lowers the harmful space to 1/3, and stops the exhaled air from accessing the eyepieces and fogging them.". It featured the same 7 point harness as on the previous mask. The patented triplex glass eyepieces were held in by two metal rings, featuring a way to insert cellophane antifog inserts. The intake thread was at a 90 degree angle, connecting to a stockenite-covered hose leading into the user's "chest rig".

Kit[]

The mask was sold in a single kit consisting of the facepiece, one stockenite covered hose, one Titán 32 large filter, a "chest rig'", and a single pair of anti dim inserts. The user would wear the chest rig over the neck, with the mask in the pocket on the left, and the filter strapped on the right.
