The K-II is a lesser-known gas mask due to its short production life and because both the army and Civil Defence started to use better-suited masks.
Mask overview
Similar in material and build techniques to the E-I however the exhale valve is on the left side much like it is on the E-IV.
Filter
The K-II used German-made filters (like the Dräger 455 in 40mm DIN) but the mask had a 42mm connection so a 40mm to 42mm thread adapter was issued.
Bag
Simple canvas bag which is similar to the Italian T.35 bag.
