The LFG was issued to the Sjøforsvaret (Norwegian navy). The mask is similar to the LF-62 and LFC, but allows for vision impaired users to wear glasses. The LFG is one of few masks that have accessibility for full glasses. The LFG was isssued alongside the LFC for an unknown period of time, starting in the 1960s.
Mask overview[]
The LFG features an oral-nasal cup, voice diaphram and a neck strap for easy donning and doffing the mask. It also features an enlarged cap-like visor and pouches for glasses' arms. This allowed the wearer to wear glasses.
The mask is almost identical to the LFC, but has a larger visor and pouches. The mask, like the LFC, features grooves on the induvidual parts for easy disassembly.
Unlike the LFC, the LFG is not marked with "Sjøforsvaret" (navy).
