The MR-70 (Bulgarian: МР-70) is a Bulgarian civilian half face mask.

General description[]
The mask is made out of black or gray rubber. Most masks have 2 outlet valves, one on the front and one at the chin area. As seen on pictures it also has 2 side filters, which contain 2 particulate filters. It has a 2 point strap system. The mask was intended for use against radioactive dust and nuclear fallout. The masks were made by Военният Завод Дихателна Апаратура Хо Ши Мин (Ho Chi Minh Military Breathing Equipment Factory) in Dupnitsa between 1970 and 1990.
The filters seem to fit russian bayonet "thread".

Modern use[]
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense decided give the masks out for civilians from the wartime reserve.
