The Sivilforsvarsmaske was the last mask produced by Viking Gummivarefabriken and was intended to use by the Civil Defence.
Mask overview[]
The mask was designed for the Civil Defence in the years around 1953. The mask is visually inspired by various English masks of the time period and features the same inlet-outlet as the M/34 and M/39 .
The mask is very simple and lacks certain aspects other masks of the era had. For example: it has no tissot, no nasal or oral cup, no quick release on the straps and had a spring loaded outlet.
