The Vietnamese V-5 is a white industrial mask, derived from the German M65.
Overview[]
The full kit consists of the mask itself, a blue filter along with a carrier bag and instructions. The mask also has a drinking valve, but doesn't come with a drinking tube. This mask uses 5 point rubber straps. Công ty TNHH MẶT NẠ VIỆT (VIET MASK CO., LTD) oversaw the distribution of this mask. All of the components on the facepiece are fastened using clamps and screws.
The V-5 is a civilian industrial version of the Vietnamese Military's MV-5, with the main differences being in colouration. Its filter design is identical to the MV-5's, but recoloured blue to denote civilian use.
Although the V-5 kit does not include a drinking tube or canteen, it is fully compatible with the MV-5's drinking system.
